Steve Hazelton

President, Chief Executive Officer

Steve founded GravityPeople because he believes that companies spend far too much money for recruiting services that are unreliable, unstructured and frustrating. Prior to underestimating the enormous challenges involved with solving these problems, Steve worked for an executive search firm specializing in enterprise software. Before entering the search industry he worked in politics in New Hampshire and later in Idaho. Steve graduated from the University of New Hampshire with an Honors Degree in Political Science. He is an avid fly-fisherman, runner, reader and backpacker.

Joel Passen

Vice President, Business Development

A founding member of GravityPeople, Joel is one of the principal developers of GravityPeople's managed technology and services solution. Joel is currently responsible for business development and overall corporate development. After working in more traditional technology recruiting companies, Joel's vision for GravityPeople was to break the mold and transform the business-as-usual recruiting model. Quoted in business press such as The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, Joel has also been a keynote speaker at technology recruiting conferences. Joel earned a BA from The Ohio State University. He enjoys foreign travel, any outdoor sport requiring "gear," and plays ice hockey. 

Jeff Winter

Vice President, Search

As a founding member of GravityPeople, Jeff is responsible for GravityPeople’s Search business unit. Prior to Gravity, Jeff was a top performer with one of the largest contract placement firms in the nation. At GravityPeople he has applied that expertise to help build a better business practice with a higher level of service for clients. Jeff holds a BA from the University of Utah. He enjoys sailing, mountain biking and snowboarding.

John Delaney

Executive Vice President, Services

John is responsible for the successful delivery of GravityPeople’s HLM solution offering to our national customer base. Having a wealth of experience as both an internal and external recruiter, John brings more than 12 years of technical recruiting sales, training, consulting, and operations management expertise to our organization. Prior to joining GravityPeople in 2005, he was the CEO and President of 2 premier technology and recruiting firms, Axis Technologies and Oakbrush, for many years. He received a BS in English and Philosophy from Utah State University. He enjoys snowboarding, playing golf and spending time with his family.
